MS150 Training-Shooting Star Trail-Part 2

Hi Traverskis, Tim and I are going to do the MS150 in June and to prepare we are going to do a set of Traverski bike rides, and anyone can join us even if they are not doing to MS150.

For the 7th ride we are going ride Shooting Star Trail, starting in Leroy at the Lake Louise State Park. Then ride to Taopi/Adams/Rose Creek, and back, which is 15+ miles each way. But if you just want to do some of the ride, and not go all the way,  Adams is less than 10 miles out. And the trail is fairly flat.

And the weather for Saturday morning is looking good for the ride, cooler & low wind.

Afterwards: Lunch in Leroy ?

​Shooting Star Trail is comprised of 30 miles of 'Remnant Tall Grass Prairie' and native wildflowers along MN 56 from I-90 near Austin MN southeast through the towns of Rose Creek, Adams and Taopi; through Lake Louise State Park near the MN-IA state line; and ending at the eastern trail head in LeRoy, MN. The Shooting Star Trail is supported by Prairie Visions.
