Join Sitzmark and other MSC members on a day
trip to Spirit Mountain (www.spiritmt.com) in Duluth for
just $55! Nonmembers may attend for $65. (Adult
weekend lift tickets are normally $45 each.) This unbeatable
price for a day of skiing includes the lift ticket,
deluxe coach bus ride, a hearty breakfast (bagels,
meat, eggs, cheese, Nutella, bananas, juice, and
more). Rentals are available for just $20 (skis or
boards), and lessons for just $12. Last year, we had
60 skiers (including 18 new people) and everyone
wanted to go back again!
This year, we are also offering 20 lift ticket vouchers
at $32 for people driving up on their own, which I
can mail to you in advance, or you can meet us at the
bus. These vouchers are good for any day this
2014/2015 season (redeem them at the ticket window
or group office). You must be an MSC member to buy
the voucher as it’s a special deal our club got and they
are not available for sale to the general public.
Board the bus at 7 am at the Honeywell parking lot
(2600 Ridgway Parkway, Minneapolis, MN 55413;
park on the south side of the complex). Get cozy as
the bus will be full (50 people). We’ll leave at 7:30 am
sharp and serve breakfast once we get rolling; we plan
to arrive at Spirit Mt around 10 am. Upon arrival, just
gather your equipment and head to the Fireside Room
(next to the Moosehead Lodge) to get your lift ticket,
settle in, change clothes, and relax throughout the day
(we reserved the room all day but cannot guarantee
complete security). Pick up rentals at the group office.
For the return trip, the bus will board Spirit Mountain
at 5 pm for a 5:30 pm departure. We plan to be
back to Honeywell around 8 pm.
This day trip will sell out fast, so sign up ASAP. To
